The Rats and Mice are crashing this beach party, and we’re doing it with Eric Von Zipper style. If you’re gonna ride with the toughest motorcycle club to ever park on the sand, you need a drink that looks as mean as a leather jacket but sips like a sunny day in Malibu.
Enter our custom Von Zipper blend. We started with a heavy foundation of Dented Brick Vodka—because every good rebel needs a solid foundation—and mixed it up with a crisp, refreshing splash of fresh lemon and lime juice. Top it off with a bubbly wave of Sprite to keep things swinging, and then comes the real kicker: a slow float of dark blackberry liqueur that creates the ultimate, sweet “oil slick” right on top.
It’s sweet, it’s tart, it’s bubbly, and it looks exactly like something that just dripped off a vintage chopper. Just remember Von Zipper’s golden rule: “When Eric Von Zipper speaks… everybody listens!”
Take a sip, put on your shades, and let’s stir up some trouble by the shore. 🌊🕶️
Equipment
- Hurricane or Collins Glass
- Jigger
- Mixing Spoon
- Cutting Board
- Knife
- Lighter
- Straw
Ingredients – Serves 1
- 1.5 oz Vodka (Dented Brick)
- .25 oz Lemon Juice
- .25 oz Lime Juice
- Sprite to top
- .75 oz Blackberry Liqueur
- 1/2 Spent Lime and Overproof Rum for flaming garnish
- Ground Cinnamon for light show
Method
- Add the vodka, lemon and lime juice to a hurricane glass with ice.
- Add the Sprite to top. Stir.
- Add the blackberry liqueur over top to seep down (like oil).
- Add a straw (stainless steel).
- Add 1/2 spent lime (use the leftover lime half) filled with overproof 151 rum and place on top of the drink.
- Light the lime half. Sprinkle some cinnamon over top for a light show. Blow out flame before drinking. Cheers!
