I’ve collaborated with @drinkswithdawn and us Cocktail Queens are ready to hit the clubs!😂Ive also teamed up with @teamcraftedpour and @bgreynolds and am using their fabulous Hurricane Cocktail Mixer for the bottom layer of this cocktail. Thank you BG Reynolds for this delicious mixer which features the tropical flavors of cherry, lemon, passion fruit, mango, pomegranate and hibiscus flowers. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients-Serves 1

🌈1.5 oz BG Reynolds Hurricane Mix @bgreynolds
🌈3 oz Pineapple Juice
🌈2 oz Coconut Rum
🌈.5 oz Blue Curacao (mixed with 2 oz water)
🌈Lemon Round with 6 drops lemon extract
🌈151 Ovenproof Rum for flame

Method

🍹In a hurricane glass with ice, add the Hurricane Cocktail Mixer
🍹Slowly pour the pineapple juice into the glass for the second layer.
🍹Pour the coconut rum over the pineapple juice.
🍹Slowly pour the Blue Curacao over the back of a spoon for the final layer.
🍹Add the lemon slice w/lemon extract on top and pour the 151 ovenproof rum over the top.
🍹Ignite with a torch @inzaynity_official and watch the flames dance. * Blow out the flame and add a straw. Cheers!!🍹

Ahoy, mateys! This pirate cocktail wench is bringing to you an original tiki cocktail created by @joes_happyhour but discovered on @the_barton_arms_cocktails. This reshake of a reshake is an 11 ingredient (yes, you heard that right) mixology masterpiece of tropical deliciousness. I’ve teamed up with @worldwide_libations @teamcraftedpour and @thebittertruthcompany and am using their Golden Falernum for this amazing tiki cocktail. Thank you The Bitter Truth Company for this beautiful bottle of fabulousness. This Golden Falernum is a flavorful rum-based liqueur with flavors of ginger, clove, vanilla, almond and allspice. Drink up, me hearties! Here’s how to make this unique tiki cocktail:

Ingredients - Serves 1

🏴‍☠️1 oz Jamaican Rum
🏴‍☠️1 oz Cuban Rum
🏴‍☠️1/4 oz Allspice Dram
🏴‍☠️1/2 oz Golden Falernum @thebittertruthcompany
🏴‍☠️1/2 oz Cinnamon Syrup
🏴‍☠️1/2 oz Orgeat
🏴‍☠️3/4 oz Lime Juice
🏴‍☠️1/4 oz Grapefruit Juice
🏴‍☠️1/2 oz Orange Juice
🏴‍☠️3/4 oz Pineapple Juice
🏴‍☠️1/4 oz Passion Fruit Syrup

Method

🍹Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker filled with crushed ice.
🍹Shake to combine and open pour into a tiki mug of choice.

The Death in the Afternoon cocktail was created in 1932 by Ernest Hemingway, the same year he published the book of the same name, which explores the tradition of bullfighting in Spain. I’ve teamed up with @teamcraftedpour and @absinthiasbottledspirits and am using their Absinthe Supérieure Verte. Thank you Absinthia for this beautiful bottle of Absinthe. I love the flower design going down the bottle and the excellent quality of the Absinthe. If you’re not familiar with Absinthe, it has quite the controversial history. Absinthe is a potent spirit made with wormwood, anise and other herbs. It was first used by the ancient Greek and Romans for medicinal use and later developed into a recreational drink. Absinthe became very popular in France in the late 19th and early 20th century especially among artists, writers and bohemians. It was believed to have hallucinogenic effects due to the thujone levels of the wormwood plant. It was banned in the U.S from 1912-2007. Absinthe with over 10mg thujone is still banned however, regulations are now in place to ensure minimal thujone levels. Here’s how to make this classic Ernest Hemingway cocktail:

💚1 oz Absinthe @absinthiasbottledspirits

💚Lemon peel for garnish (I cut it into a shape to resemble bullhorns, isn’t it cute?)

Method

🍾Chill all ingredients prior including the coupe glass.
🍾Peel a large slice of lemon rind with a paring knife. Trim the edges and cut the ends to a point. Make a slice in the middle to sit on your glass. Bend the rind up.
🍾Add the Absinthe to the chilled coupe glass.
🍾Add the simple syrup and stir.
🍾Add the Prosecco to top (it will create a creamy appearance)
🍾Slide the lemon garnish onto the edge of of the glass to resemble bullhorns. Olé!🎉

Are you itching for a tropical escape? Bora Bora perhaps? I can relate but no worries Fun Craft Cocktails has you covered with the Tropical Itch cocktail! This cocktail was created in 1957 by Harry Yee, a tiki bartender legend who also created the Blue Hawaii cocktail among others, at the Hilton Hawaiian Gardens resort in Waikiki. The tropical Itch cocktail combines bourbon (an unusual ingredient for tiki cocktails), 151 rum, orange curacao, passion fruit (the real star of this cocktail), pineapple juice, lemon juice and a dark rum float with bitters over top. It’s then garnished with a bamboo backscratcher (so cute). I’ve teamed up with @teamcraftedpour and @bgreynolds and am using their fabulous passion fruit syrup for this cocktail. Thank you BGReynolds for this delicious bottle of syrup.🎉So scratch that itch and let’s make one. Here’s how:

Ingredients-Serves 1

🍹1 oz Bourbon
🍹1 oz Demerara 151 Ovenproof Rum
🍹3 oz Passion Fruit Syrup @bgreynolds
🍹.5 oz Orange Curacao
🍹1 oz Pineapple Juice
🍹.5oz Lemon Juice
🍹1 oz Dark Jamaican Rum (for float)
🍹2 dashes Angostura Bitters for float

Method

🌴Add all ingredients, except the dark Jamaican rum and bitters, to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine (30 seconds).
🌴Strain into a hurricane glass filled with crushed ice.
🌴Float the dark Jamaican rum and bitters over the top.
🌴Add a backscratcher, tropical flower (I used a hibiscus flower from my yard🌺) and a straw. Cheers!!🍹

Ingredients-Serves 1

🥭2 oz Fiero Serrano Tequila @fierotequila
🥭1 oz Cointreau
🥭.5 oz Lime Juice
🥭.5 oz Agave Syrup
🥭1 fresh mango or 1 cup frozen
🥭Tajin for rim
🥭Lime Wheel for garnish

Method

🔥Run 1/2 lime around the rim and then up and down on the front of your margarita glass. Roll the glass in the Tajin to create the design down the front.
🔥Add the Fiero Serrano Tequila, mango, Cointreau, lime juice and agave syrup to a blender. Add 2 scoops of ice and puree for at least 30 seconds while playing the maracas:)
🔥Pour into the Tajin rimmed margarita glass and garnish with a lime wheel. Enjoy!

Spicy Strawberry Margarita

Ingredients-Serves 1

🔥1.5 oz Fiero Habanero Tequila @fierotequila
🔥1 oz Cointreau
🔥.5 oz Lime Juice
🔥.5 oz Agave Syrup (light)
🔥3 Strawberries (2 for cocktail +1 for garnish)
🔥Margarita Salt

Method

🎉In a shaker with no ice, add 2 cut up strawberries (washed and dried) and muddle into fine pieces.
🎉Add the Fiero Habanero Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and agave syrup.
🎉Add ice to shaker and shake to combine (at least 30 seconds).
🎉Strain into a salt rimmed, ice filled margarita glass. Note-you can double strain if you don’t want small pieces of strawberry in your margarita but I personally like it.
🎉Remove the green stem of a washed and dried strawberry and cut a triangle on top. Remove the small triangle piece and cut down the front and back revealing the inside (make sure you use a ripe strawberry). Cut a small slit at the bottom and slide the heart shaped strawberry on the side of the glass. Salud!🎉

Thank you Maraska for sending me this beautiful bottle. Their Nocelino Chocolate Green Walnut Liqueur blends the rich earthy essence of green walnuts and decadent sweetness of natural chocolate for an eggstra special treat. Here’s how to make it:

Ingredients-Serves 1

🐇1 cup Chocolate Chips
🐇2 oz Vanilla Vodka
🐇1.5 oz Chocolate Liqueur @maraska_zadar
🐇.5 oz Coconut Rum
🐇1 oz Half and Half
🐇Meringue or Whipped Cream
🐇1 Large Marshmallow
🐇Hot Pink Sprinkling Sugar

Method

🍸Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave safe bowl and stir. Let cool and add to a pastry bag. Swirl the inside of a martini glass with the chocolate and place in the freezer to set.
🍸Cut a large marshmallow in half diagonally and dip each half into the pink sugar. Set aside.
🍸In a cocktail shaker with ice, add the vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, coconut rum and half and half. Shake to combine at least 30 seconds and strain into the chocolate swirled martini glass.
🍸Add the meringue on top (full instructions in the link on my story highlights). Pat down with the back of a spoon and torch with an @inzaynity_official torch (watch out for flying glass lol)
🍸Add the bunny ears in the meringue and garnish with a chocolate carrot. Enjoy!🧡

What do you get when Russian vodka and a tiki cocktail collides? The Russian Hula Dancer! This original tiki cocktail was masterminded by @_the_lost_kahuna_ and brought to you by The Gidge (me😂).

Here’s how to make this unique tiki cocktail:

Ingredients- Serves 1

🍍2 oz Vodka @stoli
🍍2 oz Pineapple Juice @dolesunshine
🍍.5 oz Kahlua @kahlua
🍍.25 oz Lime Juice (fresh squeezed)
🍍.25 oz Simple Syrup
🍍Ginger Beer to top @fevertreemixers
🍍1/2 hollowed out lime with a small piece of bread soaked in lemon extract for garnish.
🍍Ground Cinnamon for light show.

Method

🍹Fill a hurricane glass @vikkotableware with crushed ice. Pull a drink hula skirt @beistleco over the glass and set aside.
🍹Add the vodka, pineapple juice, Kahlua, lime juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice.
🍹Shake to combine and strain into the ice filled hurricane glass.
🍹Top off with ginger beer and stir. Add a straw.
🍹Garnish with the 1/2 hollowed out lime placed on top of the cocktail with a small piece of bread tucked into the middle. Apply a few drops of the lemon extract onto the bread and light with the InZaynity torch. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon over the flame for a spectacular light show, Cheers!🍹

What do you do with a drunken sailor? You give him an Irish Coffee!😂 The Irish Coffee was created in the 1940’s out of necessity when Pan Am flying boats were used to make Atlantic crossings (before large airports with runways). After the boat planes landed on the water at the Port of Foynes in Ireland, Joe Sheridan, a head chef in a nearby restaurant needed something to comfort and warm the wearied American passengers. Inspired by the love of Irish whiskey and the American love of coffee, the Irish coffee was born. Even after 1945 when transatlantic flights began landing at the nearby Shannon airport, the beloved Irish coffee became a tradition. In 1952, international travel writer Stanton Delaplane and Jack Keppler, owner of the Buena Vista Cafe in San Francisco, recreated the warming brew after Delalane enjoyed a glass at the Shannon airport. This is the original Buena Vista recipe that I have personally enjoyed at the Buena Vista and is perfect to warm you up on a chilly St. Patrick’s Day. Slainte!🍀🌈💚

Buena Vista Irish Coffee - Serves 1

🍀Hot water
🍀2 Sugar Cubes
🍀4 oz Coffee @seattlesbestcoffee
(I used 6th Ave)
🍀1 1/3 oz Irish Whiskey @jamesonwhiskey or @tullamoredew
🍀1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
🍀Green Sugar Sprinkles

Method

💚Pour hot water into an Irish Coffee glass @historycompanyus to pre heat. Toss out water.
💚Add 2 sugar cubes (or teaspoons) to your glass.
💚Pour in the coffee until 3/4 full.
💚Stir
💚Pour in the Irish Whiskey (Jameson was originally used but they also now use Tullamore D.E.W) Both are excellent choices.
Note- if 1 1/3 is too difficult to measure, just use 1 or 1.5 oz. Stir.
💚Whisk 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream in a measuring cup until frothy. Pour over the back of a spoon to top.
💚Place shamrock stencil close but not touching the top. Sprinkle green sugar sprinkles to create the shamrock shape. Remove stencil. (You can use a toothpick to perfect the shape) Slainte!☕️

Do you remember going out to dinner with your parents as a kid and having a Shirley Temple drink? The Shirley Temple mocktail and the Dirty Shirley cocktail are the perfect mocktail/cocktail dual with each utilizing the same basic ingredients. The Shirley Temple mocktail was created in the 1930’s for child actress Shirley Temple because she couldn’t have alcoholic drinks like her parents but wanted something “special.” It was said to have been created by a bartender at Chasen’s or the Brown Derby. It traditionally consisted of grenadine (pomegranate syrup), ginger ale and a maraschino cherry. Although it was originally created for children, it’s a great mocktail for all ages. The Dirty Shirley cocktail is the “adult” version adding vodka to the mix of grenadine and usually lemon lime soda or ginger ale and of course the maraschino cherry. Both drinks feature an easy 3 ingredient homemade grenadine syrup with no artificial ingredients. The added cherry flavor in the ginger ale (Shirley Temple) and the vodka (Dirty Shirley) compliments the pomegranate for a taste sensation. Which one will you choose? Cheers!🍹

For the Grenadine Syrup

❤️1 cup Pomegranate Juice @pomwonderful
❤️2/3 cup sugar
❤️2 Tbsp Lemon Juice

❤️Add all ingredients to a small saucepan and simmer 5 minutes whisking regularly. Let cool.

For the Mocktail (Shirley Temple)

🍒1 oz Grenadine
🍒Cherry ginger ale to top @canadadrygingerale
🍒Maraschino cherry @mezzetta

🍒In an ice filled highball glass @viskicraft, add the grenadine then the cherry ginger ale to top. Add a maraschino cherry and straw. Serve unmixed but you can stir it a little with your straw. Enjoy!

For the Dirty Shirley

🌹2 oz Cherry Vodka @pinnaclevodka
🌹1 oz Grenadine
🌹Ginger Ale to top @canadadrygingerale
🌹Maraschino Cherry @mezzetta

🌹Add the cherry vodka and grenadine to an ice filled highball glass @viskicraft Add the ginger ale to top. Add a maraschino cherry and straw. Serve unmixed but can be stirred with the straw. Cheers!

Ooh La La… Looking for an elegant cocktail to serve this Valentine’s/Galentine’s Day? No worries, you’ve just found it with the Strawberry French 75! Inspired by the classic French 75, this version features Empress 1908 Indigo Gin, lemon juice, strawberry syrup and of course, champagne. The original French 75 was created in 1915, during WWI in Paris, France at New York Bar (later Harry’s New York Bar, a frequent hangout of Ernest Hemingway). It was named after the French 75mm field gun (a modern powerful cannon used by the French in the war). It consisted of gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and champagne and was even featured in the movie Casablanca. Cheers!🥂

❤️1 oz Gin @empress1908gin
❤️.5 oz Lemon Juice (fresh squeezed) @sunkistcitrus
❤️.5 oz Strawberry Syrup (1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1 cup strawberries)
❤️Champagne @chandonusa
❤️Strawberries (1 cup for syrup, 2 for strawberry hearts)

Method

❤️Make the strawberry syrup by adding 1/2 cup water, 1/2 cup sugar and 1 cup strawberries (washed and cut up) to a small saucepan. Bring to a boil and simmer for 20 minutes. Let cool and strain into a glass container.
❤️Wash and dry 2 strawberries (pick the nicest ones). Pinch off the tops and cut a triangle at the top creating the heart shape. Skewer them onto a long pick and set aside.
❤️Add gin, lemon juice and strawberry syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine and strain into a pink champagne flute @sister.lydrinkware. Pour champagne (I used Chandon Rose Brut) @chandonusa to top, stir gently and add the strawberry heart garnish. Enjoy!💕

Are you ready for the big game tomorrow?🏈
I was recently honored to be asked by @monsonranchdistillers to participate in their Super Bowl LIX Bloody Mary Contest featuring @vidovodka so I decided to go big or go home.😂Located in Eastern Washington, this incredible four generation family business started in the 1930’s and includes a cattle ranch, fruit orchards (apple and cherry), a vineyard and winery (Goose Ridge) as well as a distillery. It was Arvid “Vido” Monson’s (the son of the founder M.L. Monson) dream to make vodka out of wine grapes. This premium small batch vodka has a beautiful fruity aroma and taste. It’s very smooth and blends nicely, marrying all the flavors together in the cocktail. This “from scratch” Bloody Mary recipe also features all the required IBA (International Bartenders Association) ingredients. Here’s how to make it:

The Best Classic

Ingredients-Serves 1

🏈 2 oz Vido Vodka @vidovodka
🍅4 oz Tomato Juice @campbells
🍋.5 oz Lemon Juice @sunkistcitrus
🥄1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce @leaandperrins
🥄1/4 tsp Horseradish (prepared with vinegar not the sauce)
🔥1/8 tsp Tabasco @tabasco
🧂1/8 tsp Celery Salt
🤏Pinch Black Pepper

Method

Add all ingredients (chilled) to a cocktail shaker with no ice. Roll shake to mix (this helps prevent the tomato juice from foaming). Pour into a fully ice filled salt and Old Bay @oldbay_seasoning rimmed pint glass. Add a celery stick (also a IBA requirement), straw and garnish beautifully.

The next level garnish skewers @mezzetta were also inspired by the Monson family’s history and includes beef (sliders), apple, cherry and grapes (fruit and cheese skewer) as well as seafood (Washington State).

Need to make a big batch for a tailgate party? Simply increase the amounts shown (tomato mixture only excluding the vodka) for the number of people and add the mix to a large pitcher. It’s also great to let the mix chill for a few hours to allow the ingredients to blend. It’s best to pour the vodka individually in each glass before serving and mix gently with a spoon.

Hey…Mockarita!😂Who says mocktails can’t be fun? I’ve partnered with @shopmillin and am using their pineapple garnish, isn’t it cute? I think it looks like a little flower. Not only do these premium dehydrated garnishes add flavor and presentation to your drinks, they are very versatile. You can use these garnishes in or outside of drinks or I’ve even seen them ground up and used as a rim. They also have many culinary uses. 🍍4 oz pineapple juice @dolesunshine
🍍1 oz orange juice @drinksimply
🍍.5 oz lime juice (fresh squeezed)
🍍.5 oz agave syrup @oorganics
🍍Cocktail sugar for rim @snowyrivercocktails
🍍Dehydrated pineapple for garnish @shopmillin

Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine and pour everything including the ice into a sugar rimmed margarita glass. Make a small slit into the pineapple and slide onto edge of the glass. Cheers!!🍹🍍

🎅🏻1.5 oz Vodka @titosvodka
🎅🏻.5 oz Cointreau @cointreau_us
🎅🏻3 oz Cranberry Juice @drinksimply
🎅🏻 .25 oz Lime Juice (fresh squeezed)
🎅🏻 .25 oz simple syrup
🎅🏻 Marshmallow Creme for rim @kraftjetpuffed
🎅🏻 Cocktail Sugar for rim @snowyrivercocktails
🎅🏻Frozen Cranberries for garnish @oceansprayinc
🎅🏻Mini Candy Cane for garnish

Rim the martini glass with the Marshmallow Creme then the cocktail sugar. Set aside. In a cocktail shaker with ice, add the vodka, Cointreau, cranberry juice, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake to combine then strain into the sugar rimmed martini glass. Add frozen cranberries (at least 5 per cocktail) and garnish with a candy cane. Happy Holidays everyone!🎉🎄🎅🏻☃️🥂

Fall is here and the holidays are right around the corner🎄With the cool crisp days, college football and the golden autumnal glow, fall is one of my favorite times of the year. If you love bourbon (and who doesn’t) or you have a bourbon lover in your life, this fall inspired Maple Pecan Old Fashioned is the perfect pour to savor this fabulous fall season.
Cheers!🥃

2 oz Pecan Infused Bourbon @bulleit
(1 cup pecans + 8 oz bourbon, allow to infuse for 1-3 days in a glass jar with lid)
3 dashes Black Walnut Bitters @feebrothersofficial
.25 oz Maple Syrup
3 Pecans + 1 Cinnamon Stick for garnish
Hickory Chips for smoker

🍁Add the infused bourbon and bitters to a mixing glass with no ice. Stir to combine.
🍁Add the maple syrup and ice and stir again.
🍁Add an ice sphere to a rocks glass and 3 pecans. Place the smoker @smokeshowsmoker over the glass and smoke with the hickory chips in the top.
🍁Remove the smoker from the glass and strain the cocktail into the glass. Add a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
