Things are really heating up over here at Fun Craft Cocktails with the Spicy Strawberry Margarita! I’m using Fiero Habanero Tequila for this cocktail which is naturally infused with vine-ripened habanero peppers for a spicy kick. This fiery, additive free tequila is balanced with the sweet taste of strawberry, bright flavors of orange and lime and the syrupy goodness of agave for a delightful cocktail experience. Cheers!

- .5 oz Lime Juice
- .5 oz Agave Syrup (light)
- 3 Strawberries (2 for cocktail+ 1 for garnish)

Method
- Make the garnish. Wash and dry a large strawberry (pick a nice ripe one). Pinch off the green top. Cut a triangle shape in the top where the stem was and remove the small triangle piece. Slice the down the front of the strawberry and the back the reveal the inside. Make a small slit at the bottom to sit on your glass. Set aside.
- Prepare your glass. Add margarita salt to a small plate or salt rimmer. Cut a lime in 1/2 and run one half around the rim of your margarita glass. Roll or dip the edge in the salt. Set aside.
- Make the cocktail. Wash and dry 2 strawberries. Remove stems and cut up into small pieces. Add the strawberry pieces to a cocktail shaker with no ice. Muddle the strawberries into fine pieces. Add the Fiero Habanero Tequila, Cointreau, lime juice and agave syrup. Add ice to the shaker and to your margarita glass. Shake to combine thoroughly and strain into the ice filled, salt rimmed margarita glass.
- Garnish. Place the strawberry heart on the side of the margarita glass to garnish. Salud!
