The Kamikaze is an iconic drink of the 70’s and 80’s disco era but was originally said to have been invented on an American Naval Base in Japan after WWII. Originally served as a shot and mostly booze, the Kamikaze was named after the Japanese pilots in WWII who deliberately crashed their planes loaded with explosives into enemy targets, primarily ships. It is made with equal parts vodka, triple sec and lime juice. Cheers!
