The Down Home Blues cocktail is a Fun Craft Cocktails original designed especially for Magellan Gin. Magellan Gin is a high-quality gin from France infused with iris root and flower which gives it a beautiful natural blue color. This cocktail is a take on a Bramble which features gin, lemon juice, simple syrup and blackberry liqueur. In this original cocktail, Blackberry Manischewitz in used place of the blackberry liqueur and Blue Curacao is added for additional color. Cheers!

Ingredients – Serves 1
- 1.5 oz Gin (I used Magellan)
- .5 oz Blue Curacao
- .75 oz Lemon Juice
- .5 oz Simple Syrup
- .5 oz Blackberry Manischewitz
Method
- Add the gin, Blue Curacao, lemon juice and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker with ice. Shake to combine and strain into a crushed ice filled martini glass.
- Pour the Manischewitz evenly over the top (It will sink down and become 2 layers) Cheers!
