The Blackberry Margarita is a delicious variation of a classic margarita featuring fresh blackberries, tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, simple and agave syrup. I recommend white (silver) tequila that is 100% agave for this cocktail as well as Cointreau, a type of triple sec liqueur, made with orange peel essences. Created in France, Cointreau (named after the inventor, Edouard Cointreau) has been around since 1885 and blends perfectly with any margarita recipe. This fruity margarita is perfect to enjoy for your next Taco Tuesday, Cinco de Mayo or anytime. Cheers!
