The “Girls Just Want To Have Gin” cocktail is a Fun Craft Cocktails original created especially for Magellan Gin. It is take on the Woo Woo (or Red Silk Panties) cocktail from the 1980s, which ingredients are vodka, peach schnapps and cranberry juice (basically a “Sex on the Beach” but without the orange juice). I was tasked to create an original cocktail for Magellan Gin, so I swapped out the vodka for gin, added a little lemon juice for balance and dragon fruit syrup for the girly pink color and voila, a new fun, fabulous cocktail! Magellan Gin is crafted in small batches at the Angeac Distillery in France. It is infused with iris root and flower giving it a beautiful natural blue color, although in this cocktail it is turned pink lol. It features a citrusy, floral bouquet with notes of lime zest and spearmint which blends harmoniously with the fruity peach flavors. Cheers!
